Admixture Mapping Reveals Candidate Regions for Methotrexate Neurotoxicity Susceptibility: A Reducing Disparities in Acute Leukemia Consortium Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neurotoxicity is a rare, often dose‐limiting adverse effect of methotrexate (MTX) therapy that disproportionally affects Latino children. Factors contributing to the observed disparity are not well understood. This study leveraged admixture mapping to identify genetic regions associated with MTX‐related neurotoxicity susceptibility ...

Improving the day-boundary discontinuities in BDS-3 carrier-phase time and frequency transfer

open access: yesGeo-spatial Information Science
The BeiDou global satellite navigation system (BDS) is an important tool for precise remote time and frequency transfer. The current day-boundary discontinuity in the data process of the BDS-3 carrier phase (CP) time transfer limits the exploitation of ...

Carrier-wave Rabi flopping: role of the carrier-envelope phase

open access: yesOptics Letters, 2004
Recently, a dependence of Rabi flopping on the carrier-envelope phase of the exciting laser pulses was predicted theoretically [Phys. Rev. Lett. 89, 127401 (2002)] for excitation of a thin semiconductor film with intense few-cycle pulses. Here, we report corresponding experiments on 50-100-nm thin GaAs films excited with 5-fs pulses.

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

Carrier Characteristic Bias Estimation between GNSS Signals and Its Calibration in High-Precision Joint Positioning

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
A distinctive feature of modern Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals is that they transmit multiple signal components at the same carrier frequencies.

Inpatient Exposure, Confidence, and Knowledge in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology: Evaluating General Pediatric Residents During 2025 ACGME Curriculum Change

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background General pediatricians often evaluate hematologic and oncologic presentations before subspecialty consultation, yet the 2025 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) pediatric requirements reduce inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology (PHO) time, raising questions about resident readiness.

High precision positioning algorithm based on carrier phase and time of arrival

open access: yesIET Communications, 2021
Carrier phase positioning technology is widely used in global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) but not applied to wireless orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) systems.

Sociodemographic Factors Associated With Later Stage at Diagnosis of Pediatric Germ Cell Tumors: A Report From Children's Oncology Group Registries ACCRN07 and APEC14B1

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Germ cell tumors (GCTs) often arise in the ovaries and testes (extracranial) but can also develop in the brain (intracranial). We examined the relationship of individual, family, and community‐level socioeconomic status (SES) with stage of disease at diagnosis in a cohort of pediatric patients with GCT from Children's Oncology Group

Ovarian Sex Cord Stromal Tumors in Children and Adolescents—The European Standard Clinical Practice Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As part of the European Cooperative Study Group for Paediatric Rare Tumours initiative, we developed standard clinical practice guidelines for ovarian sex cord stromal tumors, based on comprehensive national and international cohort analyses, literature review, and a final expert consensus conference.

Phase Angle as an Early Functional Biomarker of Cancer‐Related Fatigue in Pediatric Oncology: A Prospective Longitudinal Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric cancer remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in low‐and middle‐income countries. Cancer treatment may impair nutritional status, alter body composition, and exacerbate cancer‐related fatigue (CRF).
