Creating a cross‐sectional, CT and MR atlas of the Pannon minipig
Abstract Purpose The purpose of this study was to create a detailed cross‐sectional anatomical reference atlas of the Pannon minipig by correlating good resolution CT and MR images with high quality cross‐sectional anatomical images. After describing the external, buccopharyngeal, muscle, and chondrocranium morphology of the funnel‐mouthed dendrobatid tadpoles of the genus Silverstoneia and their relatives, we delimited 16 new larval characters, including 12 new synapomorphies for the genus.
