Doubly Exotic Nth-Order Superintegrable Classical Systems Separating in Cartesian Coordinates

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2022
Superintegrable classical Hamiltonian systems in two-dimensional Euclidean space $E_2$ are explored. The study is restricted to Hamiltonians allowing separation of variables $V(x,y)=V_1(x)+V_2(y)$ in Cartesian coordinates. In particular, the Hamiltonian $\mathcal H$ admits a polynomial integral of order $N>2$.

Gyroscopically Stabilized Robot: Balance and Tracking

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2004
The single wheel, gyroscopically stabilized robot - Gyrover, is a dynamically stable but statically unstable, underactuated system. In this paper, based on the dynamic model of the robot, we investigate two classes of nonholonomic constraints associated ...

Expression of GNSS Positioning Error in Terms of Distance

open access: yesPromet (Zagreb), 2018
This manuscript analyzes two methods for Global Navigation Satellite System positioning error determination for positioning performance assessment by calculation of the distance between the observed and the true positions: one using the Cartesian 3D ...

A Novel Design of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor with Reduced End Effect [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, 2023
In response to the end effect of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor, this paper proposes an improved modular motor structure. To compute its electromagnetic characteristics, a subdomain model that converts the Cartesian coordinate system into ...

Fourth order superintegrable systems separating in Cartesian coordinates I. Exotic quantum potentials [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2017
A study is presented of two-dimensional superintegrable systems separating in Cartesian coordinates and allowing an integral of motion that is a fourth order polynomial in the momenta. All quantum mechanical potentials that do not satisfy any linear differential equation are found. They do however satisfy nonlinear ODEs.

Using of Parallel Coordinates in Finding Minimum Distance in Time-Space

open access: yesCommunications, 2019
Airspace domain may be represented by a time-space consisting of a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system and time as the fourth dimension. A coordinate system provides a scheme for locating points given its coordinates and vice versa.

Simplified method for analytically determining the external magnetostatic field of uncertain extended technical objects based on near-field measurements

open access: yesElectrical engineering & Electromechanics
Introduction. An important scientific and technical problem of magnetism of uncertain extended energy-saturated objects - such as naval vessels and submarines is implementation of strict requirements for magnetic silence based on mathematical modeling of

Robotic Arm Position Computing Method in the 2D and 3D Spaces

open access: yesActuators, 2023
This paper presents a method on how to compute the position of a robotic arm in the 2D and 3D spaces. This method is slightly different from the well-known methods, such as forward or inverse kinematics.

Classical Superintegrable Systems in a Magnetic Field that Separate in Cartesian Coordinates [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2020
We consider superintegrability in classical mechanics in the presence of magnetic fields. We focus on three-dimensional systems which are separable in Cartesian coordinates. We construct all possible minimally and maximally superintegrable systems in this class with additional integrals quadratic in the momenta.
