In Situ Synthesized Glycerol‐Releasing Nanocarriers Unlock Superlubricity in Oil‐Based Lubricants
This study presents an in situ synthesis of glycerol‐based nanocarriers in hydrophobic lubricant oils via inverse miniemulsion polymerization. Encapsulating glycerol within a glycerol‐based polyurethane shell resolves miscibility issues between glycerol and the hydrophobic base oil, yielding novel nanoadditives with tunable glycerol loading.

Graphical abstract showing the biocompatible conductive polymer film which releases the entrapped drug as a response to a stimulus (applied voltage) along with mitigating bacterial growth. ABSTRACT Chronic wounds affect millions of people worldwide, and their treatment can often be ineffective, resulting in substantial healthcare costs.

The houses in this issue propose a variety of ways of relating to the sea and its surroundings. They express a concern about how to respectfully take advantage of the singular quality of the place, how to colonize the space, how to blend the materials with a striking natural context through sophisticating construction methods.

Interfacial Energy and Composition Controlled Self‐Stratification in Polyurethane Coatings
This study elucidates self‐stratification in polyurethane coatings driven by interfacial energies and composition‐dependent phase separation. Using XPS, SIMS, and Raman analyses, we reveal rapid formation of hydrophobic and hydrophilic layers and substrate‐dependent interfacial structures.

Strain‐Induced Density Fluctuations in Glassy Polymers
Strain deformation induces the density fluctuations in glassy polymers, resulting in shear‐thinning behavior. ABSTRACT Deformation of glassy polymers induces plastic flow as a result of mechanical instability, ultimately leading to cavitation and fracture of the liquid. Thus, understanding the origin of such mechanical instability is crucial.

Revealing Ionic Transfer Kinetics in Poly(3,4‐Ethylenedioxythiophene)/Multi‐Wall Carbon Nanotubes
Binder‐free electrodes are critical for advancing supercapacitor performance. Here, the development of carbon nanotubes electrodes by replacing conventional non‐conducting polymer binders by a conducting polymer was evaluated. Advanced gravimetric tools permits a deep investigation of the various mechanisms related to the ionic/solvent transfers ...

ABSTRACT Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are often positively associated with mental health conditions. We examined whether emotional support attenuates the association between ACE clusters and both social problem solving and mental health assessments (depression, anxiety, post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms).

Electrolyte temperature significantly affects electrocatalyst performance in water splitting reactions. Catalysts synthesized by solution combustion synthesis were evaluated for oxygen evolution activity at different temperatures. Elevated temperatures reduced overpotential and increased current density, reflecting enhanced reaction kinetics and ...
