Methodology for modeling a column-oriented database with Cassandra

Cassandra data model is based on a dynamic schema, with a column-oriented data model. This means that, unlike a relational database, it is not necessary to model all the columns since a row potentially does not have the same set of columns.

Covalent Protein Inhibitors via Tyrosine and Tryptophan Conjugation with Cyclic Imine Mannich Electrophiles

Targeted covalent inhibitors (TCI) containing cyclic imine warheads react with tyrosine and tryptophan residues via the Mannich reaction. These cyclic imine warheads show comparable reaction kinetics to cysteine‐reactive electrophiles commonly used in TCIs.

Multicyclic D‐Stereospecific Hydrolase Dimer With High Sustained Activity

Protein macrocyclization was applied to a thermally unstable D‐stereospecific hydrolase using in situ cyclization of proteins (INCYPRO). This site‐specific cross‐linking approach enhanced the resistance of the enzyme to heat and cosolvents.
