Social dynamics of domestic precycling: The influence of intra‐group processes on packaging waste prevention during a HomeLab

open access: yesAsian Journal of Social Psychology, Volume 28, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract The prevention and reduction of packaging waste through behavioural and systemic change has been set as a global goal. To understand the underlying processes that may explain behavioural change toward precycling, we used a multi‐method approach that sheds light on the group processes unfolding during a living lab in private homes (called ...

First Measurements of γ Cassiopeae's Hydrogen Envelope [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1987
In the framework of an interferometric program on Be stars, first announced during the IAU general assemblies at Patras, 1982, recently at New Delhi, 1985 and reported in the “Be Star Newsletter” n°6 and l3, we try to measure the angular diameter of the central star, hydrogen envelope and, if possible, its movement, of the brightest Be stars in the ...

Supplemental photographs-20210925T202236Z-003.zipImpacts of light and food availability on early development of Cassiopea medusae

open access: yes, 2021
The Cassiopea genus is an emergent focus for behavioral, ecological, and genetic research. Cassiopea ephyrae, a key intermediate in the life cycle of this benthic jellyfish, have been left out of much work on the genus.

Gastric microbiomes of Cassiopea in the Florida Keys are low diversity and Endozoicomonas-, Vibrio- and Mycoplasma-dominated

open access: yesbioRxiv
Interactions with microbial communities fundamentally shape metazoans’ physiology, development, and health across marine ecosystems. This is especially true in zooxanthellate (symbiotic algae-containing) cnidarians.

Cassiopea spp

open access: yes
Cassiopea spp. Distribution See Fig. 3, Mendoza-Becerril et al. (2025). Notes This category includes records identified as Cassiopea sp., most of them being based on citizen-science photographs. Many of these image records only show the exumbrellar view or a limited oral perspective which makes it difficult to see key diagnostic features, such as the ...

Microplastic Occurrence in the Diet of Green Sea Turtles (Chelonia mydas) From the Coastal Region of São Paulo, Brazil

open access: yesAquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems, Volume 35, Issue 6, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Microplastics (MPs) represent the main vector of pollution in the marine environment. Originating from the slow degradation process of plastics into smaller particles, MPs vary in size between 1 and 5 mm. Their ability to adsorb and transport contaminants, disperse invasive organisms and be accidentally ingested by marine animals makes these ...

Real‐Time PCR Assay and Environmental DNA Workflow for Detecting Irukandji Jellyfish, Malo bella (Cubozoa)

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 7, Issue 2, March/April 2025.
This paper details the development and validation of a highly sensitive and specific quantitative PCR assay to detect and monitor Malo bella, a venomous Irukandji jellyfish species. Using targeted primers and a TaqMan MGB probe, the assay effectively detects M. bella environmental DNA in water samples.
