Origin of colour zoning in cassiterites from tin deposits within the Bushveld Complex, South Africa [PDF]
Cassiterites with striking colour zones from the syngenetic tin deposits at Zaaiplaats and from the epigenetic tin deposits at Rooiberg, Leeuwpoort and Union Mines, in the Central Transvaal, have been analysed by microprobe.

Key Points We recommend using the notation δ122/118SnNIST SRM 3161a for mass‐dependent Sn isotope data. We derived conversion factors relative to NIST SRM 3161a for Puri Sn CEZA (0.132 ± 0.011‰), Sn Lyon (0.229 ± 0.016‰), Sn IPGP (0.162 ± 0.018‰). Tin isotope compositions are presented for SPEX CertiPrep Sn and nine USGS reference materials.

Flotation Recovery of Fine Slime Cassiterite from Gravity Tailings
The concentrator of Dachang mining area in Guangxi adopts the method of shaking table gravity separation to recover cassiterite in production, which has problems such as difficult cassiterite separation and large loss of fine mud.

Mineralogical characterization of Sn deposits from the Santa Fe District, Bolivia [PDF]
The Sn-Zn-Pb-Ag Japo-Santa Fe-Morococala ore deposit is located in the Central Andean Belt province. The ore mineralization is hosted in a Paleozoic metasedimentary sequence and porphyritic Oligocene-Miocene igneous rocks. Ore minerals occur in veins and

Contamination of surface waters by mining wastes in the Milluni Valley (Cordillera Real, Bolivia): Mineralogical and hydrological influences [PDF]
This study is one of very few dealing with mining waste contamination in high altitude, tropical-latitude areas exploited during the last century. Geochemical, mineralogical and hydrological characterizations of potentially harmful elements (PHEs) in ...

Tin Oxide‐Anchored MXene Composites for Enhanced Hydrogen Evolution in Alkaline Media
The schematic illustrates a SnO2/MXene heterostructure for efficient hydrogen evolution. SnO2 nanoparticles are uniformly anchored on conductive MXene nanosheets, enhancing charge transfer and catalytic activity. The MXene substrate provides high electrical conductivity and abundant active sites, while SnO2 facilitates water adsorption and dissociation.
