Numerical Investigation of Velocity and Thermal Slips on MHD Hybrid Nanofluid Flow Past a Stretching Sheet With nth‐Order Chemical Reaction Effects

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
The velocity and thermal slip boundary conditions on MHD hybrid nanofluid flow past a stretching sheet are examined. Hybrid nanofluids are used to enhance the heat transfer and thermal efficiency of the systems. The nth‐order chemical reaction effect is also taken into account.

Dual Solutions of Non‐Newtonian Micropolar Nanofluid Flow and Heat Transfer Over a Stretching/Shrinking Surface With Chemical Reaction and Lorentz Forces

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
This plot represents the flow configuration of the two‐phase nanofluid model. The dynamics of boundary layer micropolar nanofluid flow, heat and mass transfer characteristics past a vertical exponentional stretching/shrinking sheet in the presence of chemical reaction and thermal raditaion effects are investigated. In addition, the Lorentz and buoyancy

Analysis of Blood Flow in Arterial Stenosis Using Casson and Power-Law Fluid Model

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Dasar, 2013
Simulation of blood flow behaviour in the arteries and in arterial stenosis has been made and will be discussed in this paper. This simulation uses pulsatile flow and blood flow in artery without stenosis is considered as a dynamic fluid, compressed and ...

Boundary layer and entropy analysis of non-Newtonian Casson nanofluids moving nonlinearly in a wedge-shaped stretching plate under an unsteady flow

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering
In this paper, the boundary layer and entropy production characteristics of a Casson nanofluid moving nonlinearly in a wedge-shaped stretching plate under an unsteady flow are investigated. In the course of the study, the continuity, momentum, energy and

On the dynamics of vortex modes within magnetic islands

open access: yes, 2012
Recent work investigating the interaction of magnetic islands with micro-turbulence has uncovered the striking observation of large scale vortex modes forming within the island structure [W.A. Hornsby {\it et al.}, Phys.

LES of non-newtonian physiological blood flow [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Large Eddy Simulation (LES) is performed to study the physiological pulsatile transition to turbulent non-Newtonian blood flow through a 3D model of arterial stenosis using the different non-Newtonian blood viscosity models.

A fractal approach to the rheology of concentrated cell suspensions

open access: yes, 2007
Results on the rheological behavior of novel CHO cell suspensions in a large range of concentrations are reported. The concentration dependent yield stress and elastic plateau modulus are formalized in the context of fractal aggregates under shear, and ...

Model for flow of Casson nanofluid past a non-linearly stretching sheet considering magnetic field effects

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
Present work deals with the magneto-hydro-dynamic flow and heat transfer of Casson nanofluid over a non-linearly stretching sheet. Non-linear temperature distribution across the sheet is considered.
