Influence of Pd/AC Catalytic Properties on the Continuous Production of Hydrogen from Formic Acid

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
A highly efficient palladium/activated carbon (Pd/AC) catalyst, prepared with PdCl₂ and nanopowdered AC via wet impregnation without stabilizing agents, achieves superior Pd dispersion, and doubling hydrogen yields compared to commercial catalysts. This advancement improves durability, minimizes regeneration frequency, and enables scalable hydrogen ...

Exploring the Impact of Phenanthroline‐Based Glycoconjugated Ru(II) Polypyridyl Photosensitizers on Metastasis‐Related Processes

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A novel family of water‐soluble, nontoxic, and phosphorescent N‐glycosylated Ru(II) phenanthroline‐based complexes are reported. They exhibit photoselectivity indexes ranging from 10 to 44 in PC‐3 cells, while impacting cell migration and resistance to detachment after irradiation with blue light.

Inversion of analytic characteristic functions and infinite convolutions of exponential and Laplace densities

open access: yes, 2009
We prove that certain quotients of entire functions are characteristic functions. Under some conditions, the probability measure corresponding to a characteristic function of that type has a density which can be expressed as a generalized Dirichlet ...

Discrete Heterotrimetallic Assemblies Based on Rod‐Shaped FeII‐Metalloligands and a ZnII‐Porphyrin/RuII‐Metallacycle

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Accepted Article.
An efficient strategy for the preparation of heterometallic discrete porphyrin assemblies, tuned both in dimensions and number of metal centers, is described. Five rod‐shaped di‐pyridyl FeII‐metalloligands, with varied length (1.5 – 3.2 nm), lateral substituents, and number of iron centers, were used to bridge two RuII‐metallacycles, made of two ...

Intra-Household Resource Management Structure and Income-Hiding under Incomplete Information [PDF]

open access: yes
There is evidence that some multi-person households may withhold income transfers, such as bonuses, gifts, and cash transfers, from other members of the household (Ashraf (2009); Vogler and Pahl, (1994)). In this paper, I show that the incentives to hide
