Properties of Generalized Bronze Fibonacci Sequences and Their Hyperbolic Quaternions

Generalized Catalan numbers

A finitization of the Catalan numbers $ C_n $ can be defined as Euler characteristics of an algebraic structure. We conjecture the existence of a $ q $-deformed version of such structure, and provide evidence for the first two non-trivial cases. This $ q $-deformed version will likely categorify series arise from identities of the Roger-Ramanujan type.

Phage‐mediated horizontal transfer of Salmonella enterica virulence genes with regulatory feedback from the host

In this study, we found evidence of phage‐mediated horizontal transfer of virulence genes in Salmonella enterica in global habitats from a molecular evolutionary perspective. Notably, csrA, a global regulator in Salmonella enterica, curbed horizontal gene transfer by inhibiting the cyclization and release of prophage.

Expression of De Novo Open Reading Frames in Natural Populations of Drosophila melanogaster
