Diseño computacional de catalizadores biológicos [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Enzymes are a source of inspiration for the design of new and powerful industrial catalysts able to work, in principle, in mild conditions of pressure, temperature and solvents. The Transition State of the reaction is the keystone to understand how enzymes are able to speed up reactions. This information can be then employed to design protein

Full-Solution Processed Halide Perovskite Photoanodes with Carbon/NiFe-LDH Protection for Efficient Photoelectrochemical Water Oxidation. [PDF]

open access: yesSmall
Solution‐processed photoelectrodes for the oxygen evolution reaction in water splitting are fabricated by using hybrid perovskite as the active layer, carbon electrodes, and NiFe‐LDH catalyst as protective and catalyst layers, respectively. The device showed an 18.07 mA cm−2 photocurrent density and an 8.51% ABPE.

Critical Factors Affecting the Selective Transformation of 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural to 3-Hydroxymethylcyclopentanone Over Ni Catalysts. [PDF]

open access: yesChemSusChem
While HCPN emerged as the primary product, the reaction rate and products distribution during the aqueous‐phase HMF hydrogenation over Ni‐supported catalysts were influenced by the acid properties of the catalytic system, the structural properties and hydrothermal stability of the support, as well as the purity level of the HMF feedstock.

Detecting spatial economic clusters using kernel density and global and local Moran's I analysis in Ekurhuleni metropolitan municipality, South Africa

open access: yesRegional Science Policy &Practice, Volume 14, Issue 2, Page 307-327, April 2022., 2022
Abstract Agglomeration economies are credited for providing the needed catalyst for economic growth and development. This paper uses approximately 14,000 firm‐level data and employs several spatial data analysis approaches to examine evidence of types of spatial sectoral clusters and their footprints in Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, a major ...

INSURGENCY AND AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY: The Case of George McGovern

open access: yesWorld Affairs, Volume 180, Issue 2, Page 32-61, June 2017., 2017
As a distinct foreign‐policy group, neoconservatives emerged in a period of social unrest and political cynicism—a time when insurgent presidential candidates can have profound effects on the outlook and conduct of foreign policy. The George McGovern insurgency is an important historical event that was accompanied by social unrest, distrust in ...

Synthesis of High cis‐Polybutadiene in Styrene Solution with Neodymium‐Based Catalysts: Towards the Preparation of HIPS and ABS via In Situ Bulk Polymerization

open access: yesInternational Journal of Polymer Science, Volume 2016, Issue 1, 2016., 2016
In a first step, 1,3‐butadiene was selectively polymerized at 60°C in styrene as solvent using NdV3/DIBAH/EASC as the catalyst system. The catalyst system activation process, the addition order of monomers and catalyst components, and the molar ratios [Al]/[Nd] and [Cl]/[Nd] were studied.

Mecanismos de desactivación de catalizadores heterogéneos

open access: yesMundo Nano.
