Molecular and functional profiling unravels targetable vulnerabilities in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We used whole exome and RNA‐sequencing to profile divergent genomic and transcriptomic landscapes of microsatellite stable (MSS) and microsatellite instable (MSI) colorectal cancer. Alterations were classified using a computational score for integrative cancer variant annotation and prioritization.

Registration, infringement, competition and markets under the New Zealand Trade Marks Act 2002 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The traditional rationale for the legal protection of trade marks is that trade marks protect consumers from con fusion and reduce consumer search costs in the market place. Producers use trade marks to distinguish their goods and services from the goods

A catalogue of spectroscopic binary candidate stars derived from a comparison of Gaia DR2 with other radial velocity catalogues [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Using the recently published Gaia second data release which includes measurements of the mean radial velocity of about 7.2 million stars, we performed a systematic comparison with other existing radial velocity catalogues in order to search for variations in the radial velocity measurements, with the goal that detected differences may indicate that ...

On the SRS Catalogue [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1986
The Soviet astronomers B.P. Gerassimovich and N.I. Dneprovsky suggested in 1932 that a Catalogue of Faint Stars be compiled. The SRS catalogue is in fact a realization of this suggestion for the southern hemisphere. The final goal of the work is an international catalogue of faint stars IRS=AGK3R + SRS, containing about 40 000 stars of the 7–9th mag ...

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

New catalogue of optically visible open clusters and candidates [PDF]

open access: yesAstron.Astrophys.389:871-873,2002, 2002
We have compiled a new catalogue of open clusters in the Galaxy which updates the previous catalogues of Lynga (1987) and of Mermilliod (1995) (included in the WEBDA database). New objects and new data, in particular, data on kinematics (proper motions) that were not present in the old catalogues, have been included.

Merlin for the cataloguer [PDF]

open access: yesAslib Proceedings, 1977
MERLIN is the British Library's advanced computer system. A new MARC‐type format has been devised to take advantage of recent developments in computer technology. Records are split up into meaningful elements which are stored separately. Catalogue entries consist of a set of pointers pointing to the elements.

Elucidating prognostic significance of purine metabolism in colorectal cancer through integrating data from transcriptomic, immunohistochemical, and single‐cell RNA sequencing analysis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.
