Analysis of multiple‐herbicide resistant Amaranthus palmeri populations from Spain points to an introduction of the eccDNA from America

In this study, multiple herbicide resistant mechanisms have been confirmed in two Amaranthus palmeri populations from Spain that survived glyphosate‐ and ALS‐inhibitor herbicides. Our data suggest that the eccDNA and the mutations identified in the ALS gene are the result of an evolutionary event that occurred outside Spain.

Side effects of pesticides used in organic and conventional tomato crops on Dolichogenidea gelechiidivoris, a parasitoid of Tuta absoluta

This study reveals strong variability in the effects of eight tomato integrated pest management‐compatible pesticides on Dolichogenidea gelechiidivoris, identifying harmful compounds such as spinosad and more selective ones such as sulfur and spiromesifen, depending on the exposure route.

Abstract Infantile‐onset Pompe disease (IOPD) is a rare, deadly, quickly‐progressing degenerative disease. Even with life‐sustaining treatment (e.g., alglucosidase alfa [ALGLU]), many patients experience continued motor impairment. The Mini‐COMET trial evaluated avalglucosidase alfa (AVAL) versus ALGLU on motor and other outcomes in IOPD.
