Ribbons of Light: Emerging (Sb,Bi)(S,Se)(Br,I) Van der Waals Chalcohalides for Next‐Generation Energy Applications

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This work presents the first unified synthesis and analysis of the full (Sb,Bi)(S,Se)(Br,I)chalcohalide family. It explores their structural, electronic, andoptoelectronic properties, highlighting anisotropic behaviours, and demonstratingpotential in photovoltaics (PV) and photocatalysis (PC), paving the way foreco‐friendly energy applications ...

Intrinsic Ferroelectric Polarization in Doped HfO2 and ZrO2

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
It is shown that ionic currents in ferroelectric capacitors based on doped HfO2 and ZrO2 can overlap the genuine switching current, leading to an overestimation of the ferroelectric polarization and even the misidentification of a paraelectric material as ferroelectric.

Strategies for Navigating Magnetic Microrobots in Neurovascular Networks: A Numerical Analysis

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
Navigation of microrobots within vascular structures is key for targeted drug delivery. This work discusses strategies for navigating microrobots through a patient‐specific neurovascular network using magnetic gradients. These strategies and the equations developed for predicting the required magnetic gradients based on microrobot diameter are ...

Vapor Induced Donor–Acceptor Interface to Enhance The Performance of Bilayer Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesSolar RRL, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a vapor‐induced donor–acceptor interface (VIDAI) treatment using 1‐chloronaphthalene (CN) and 1,8‐diiodooctane (DIO) solvents to boost bilayer organic solar cell (OSC) efficiency from 15.1% to 17.0% and indoor power conversion efficiency (PCE) from 13.2% to 15.0%.
