Application of ZrO2 as a catalyst and a catalyst support
Catalysis Today, 1994Abstract Examples of the application of ZrO 2 for catalysts and catalyst supports are reviewed. The specificity of the structure and the surface properties including the behavior of surface OH groups are introduced. The catalytic properties of dispersed and promoted ZrO 2 are presented.

Supported Metallocene Catalysts
CATTECH, 2000Single-site olefin polymerization catalysts have been researched extensively and are now achieving wide acceptance in the polyolefin industry. To achieve commercial significance in the majority of today's commercial processes, these soluble catalysts must be immobilized on a carrier.

Catalysts Supported on Fullerenes
2019Fullerenes (mainly C60) have been evaluated as supports for catalysts under hydrogenation conditions to a lesser extent than other carbon nanomaterials and amorphous carbons. Limited activity of fullerene alone was noted. Both noble metals and transition metals have been tested as active metals.

Characterisation of Supported Catalysts
1985The complete characterisation of supported catalysts is extremely difficult due to the inhomogeneous nature of the catalysts themselves. Accordingly a wide range of analytical and spectroscopic techniques have been applied to the problem. No one technique can do more than illuminate one facet of the structure. A typical characterisation procedure would
