Cu,Zn,Al layered double hydroxides as precursors for copper catalysts in methanol steam reforming – pH-controlled synthesis by microemulsion technique [PDF]
By co-precipitation inside microemulsion droplets a Cu-based catalyst precursor was prepared with a Cu:Zn:Al ratio of 50:17:33. A pH-controlled synthesis was applied by simultaneous dosing of metal solution and precipitation agent.

Pulsed Electrolysis Prevents Sulfur Poisoning for Sustained Sulfide Valorization
Integrating pulsed electrolysis with Sc‐doped NiFe‐LDH enables sustainable sulfide valorization, achieving >500 h stability, 99.8% efficiency. Moreover, this technology produces high‐purity sulfur and sodium formate, boosting profit by 121% to $1,294.7 per tonne of hydrogen.

The role of the oxidic support on the deactivation of Pt catalysts during the CO2 reforming of methane [PDF]
Pt supported on ¿-Al2O3, TiO2 and ZrO2 are active catalysts for the CO2 reforming of methane to synthesis gas. The stability of the catalysts increased in the order Pt/¿-A12O3 < Pt/TiO2 < Pt/ZrO2.

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
