Abstract The purpose of this study is to present two new records of angiosperm woods from Cerro Pampa locality in Catamarca province, Argentina. Chiquimil Formation, a fossiliferous unit composed of volcaniclastic sandstones with intercalated mudstones from the late Miocene, outcrops in this locality.
