Witt group of modular categories

open access: yes, 2017
Modular categories (or non-degenerate braided fusion categories) can be thought of as generalisations of quadratic spaces. All essential features of the theory of quadratic spaces have analogues for modular categories.

Introduction. Debating Intersectionalities: Challenges for a Methodological Framework

open access: yesSouth Asia Multidisciplinary Academic Journal, 2018
Intersectionality is primarily an organizing principle which calls for reflexivity in the study of social characteristics, such that one marginality is not substituted for another and lived experiences are not treated as generic and undifferentiated ...

Bounded category of an exact category

open access: yes, 2012
Summary: Pedersen-Weibel introduced the notion of bounded category of an additive category, which gives the non-connective delooping of the additive category under consideration. In this work, a possible candidate for the bounded category of an exact category is constructed which shares many properties of the bounded categories of Pedersen-Weibel.

A Modular Functor From State Sums For Finite Tensor Categories And Their Bimodules [Elektronisk resurs]

open access: yes, 2022
We construct a modular functor which takes its values in the monoidal bicategory of finite categories, left exact functors and natural transformations. The modular functor is defined on bordisms that are 2-framed.

On the Category of Props

open access: yesApplied Categorical Structures, 2014
The category of (colored) props is an enhancement of the category of colored operads, and thus of the category of small categories. The titular category has nice formal properties: it is bicomplete and is a symmetric monoidal category, with monoidal product closely related to the Boardman-Vogt tensor product of operads. Tools developed in this article,

Impact of Initial Treatment Setting on Survival in Relapsed Pediatric and AYA Bone Sarcomas: A Secondary Analysis of a Prospective Clinical Trial

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Outcomes in relapsed or refractory pediatric and AYA bone sarcomas remain poor, and the impact of early referral to specialized sarcoma centers on survival is unclear. Early centralization of care may improve local and systemic treatment quality, but evidence in this population is limited.
