A CATEGORIFICATION FOR THE PENROSE POLYNOMIAL

Journal of Knot Theory and Its Ramifications, 2011
Given a graph, we construct homology groups whose Euler characteristic is the Penrose polynomial of the graph, evaluated at an integer. This work is motivated by Khovanov's work on the categorification of the Jones polynomial for knots, and the subsequent categorifications of the chromatic and Tutte polynomials for graphs.

Categorification and Group Extensions

Applied Categorical Structures, 2002
In recent times it has become evident that in many contexts where we are tempted to use sets or groups, it is actually more natural to use a richer sort of structure, namely a kind of `higher-dimensional' set or group. The categorification can be viewed as a bridge allowing to transport constructions from the category of sets into categorical terms ...

A Categorification of Quantum

Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2011
In this paper, we categorify the algebra Uq with the same approach as in [A. Lauda, Adv. Math. (2010), arXiv:math.QA/0803.3652; M. Khovanov, Comm. Algebra 11 (2001) 5033]. The algebra U = Uq is obtained from Uq by adjoining a collection of orthogonal idempotents 1λ, λ P, in which P is the weight lattice of Uq.

The Categorification of Fermions

Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2015
In this paper, we lift Fermions to functors acting on some homotopy category by the Boson-Fermion correspondence and get the categorified relations of Fermions. In this way, both the categorified Bosons and the categorified Fermions can be viewed as functors on the same category.
