Phototrophs evolved light‐harvesting systems adapted for efficient photon capture in habitats enriched in far‐red radiation. A subset of eukaryotic pigment‐binding proteins can absorb far‐red photons via low‐energy chlorophyll states known as red forms.

Vacuolar transport and function of Saccharomyces cerevisiae sterol ester hydrolase Tgl1
Tgl1, one of yeast sterol ester hydrolases, had been found on the lipid droplets where sterol esters are mainly stored. This study revealed that Tgl1 is transported into the vacuole depending on the ESCRT‐I–III complex, and that it exhibits intra‐vacuolar sterol ester hydrolase activity.

Categories and range effects in human spatial memory
After learning a particular target stimulus, such as a location, humans’ judgements of whether a particular stimulus is the target or not is affected by the range of stimuli presented on tests.

The role of fibroblast growth factors in cell and cancer metabolism
Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) signaling regulates crucial signaling cascades that promote cell proliferation, survival, and metabolism. Therefore, FGFs and their receptors are often dysregulated in human diseases, including cancer, to sustain proliferation and rewire metabolism.

Le templum en tant qu’articulation complexe
From a Benveniste's observation about the research of De Saussure in linguistics, I introduce a notion of paradoxical status in the semiotic structures; this thought is based on a same philosophical understanding of "contradictory principle" by ...

Spectral categories and varieties of preadditive categories
In this paper we reinterpret the main results about the spectral categoric; by making use of the theory of sheaves and introducing the notion of ‘variety of preadditive categories’. This approach allows us to visualize the structure of the spectral categories better, to explain the different decompositions of a spectral category (discrete and ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Category of A_infinity-categories
51 pages, LaTeX, uses Paul Taylor's diagrams.sty. It is the published text plus my comments in blue in the places that are hard to read: omissions, difficult proofs, ambiguities.

The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a new category, which we call a resonance category, whose combinatorics reflect that of canonical stratifications of n -fold symmetric smash products.
