Displayed Categories

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science, 2019
We introduce and develop the notion of *displayed categories*. A displayed category over a category C is equivalent to "a category D and functor F : D --> C", but instead of having a single collection of "objects of D" with a map to the objects of C, the objects are given as a family indexed by objects of C,

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

The Form is Not a Proper Part in Aristotle’s Metaphysics Z.17, 1041b11–33

open access: yesMetaphysics, 2018
When Aristotle argues at the 'Metaphysics' Z.17, 1041b11–33 that a whole, which is not a heap, contains ‘something else’, i.e. the form, besides the elements, it is not clear whether or not the form is a proper part of the whole.

Adherence to Protocol Recommendations for Children With Wilms Tumour in Two Consecutive Studies in the United Kingdom and Ireland—Does Variation Matter?

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

Archive(s) et archivage(s)

open access: yesSignata, 2021
The word “archive” doesn’t belong to archivists or to historians any more, and this has been the case for quite a while now. The archive left a confined and hushed area to be shared on the web space.

The Gorenstein defect category [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We consider the homotopy category of complexes of projective modules over a Noetherian ring. Truncation at degree zero induces a fully faithful triangle functor from the totally acyclic complexes to the stable derived category.

Uniqueness of dg enhancements for the derived category of a Grothendieck category

open access: yes, 2018
We prove that the derived category of a Grothendieck abelian category has a unique dg enhancement. Under some additional assumptions, we show that the same result holds true for its subcategory of compact objects.

Evaluating the Utility of Paired Tumor and Germline Targeted DNA Sequencing for Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Single Institution Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

Categories and range effects in human spatial memory

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2010
After learning a particular target stimulus, such as a location, humans’ judgements of whether a particular stimulus is the target or not is affected by the range of stimuli presented on tests.
