Comparative Meta‐Analysis of Antimicrobial Peptides in Aquatic and Terrestrial Livestock Species

A global meta‐analysis of 58 studies (926 effect sizes and 29 species across five taxa) revealed that dietary antimicrobial peptides generally improve growth performance, blood metabolites, and immune responses. Abstract Background Dentitions have diversified enormously during vertebrate evolution, involving reductions, modifications, or allocations to prey seizing and processing regions. Haematozoa of wild catfishes in northern Australia

Psidium guajava leaves contain potent bioactive compounds like quercetin, myricetin, and triterpenoids that show antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti‐inflammatory, and anticancer effects. They act by modulating NF‐κB, PPARγ, and α‐glucosidase and by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.
