Abstract Sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction and penile shortening, is a frequent consequence of radical pelvic surgeries such as prostatectomy, cystoprostatectomy, and rectal cancer surgery. These complications primarily result from nerve injury and hypoxia‐induced corporal fibrosis.
