Band Alignment and Composition of the Buried TiO2/GaInP Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Buried TiO2$\text{TiO}_2$/GaInP interfaces formed by mild plasma‐enhanced ALD are shown to be largely insensitive to the initial GaInP surface condition. Angle‐dependent photoelectron spectroscopy reveals similar interfacial chemistry and band alignment for phosphorus‐rich and naturally oxidized surfaces, demonstrating a robust pathway for reproducible

Maskless Fabrication of PLA‐Based Neural Arrays for CNS Recording and Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Biodegradable neural interfaces enable bidirectional communication with the CNS. Through electrochemical characterization, ageing tests with impedance monitoring, and in vivo validation, we assess the performance of PLA‐based epicortical and spinal implants.

Grafted Low‐Leakage Si/AlN p‐n Diodes Enabled by Fluorinated AlN Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a fluorination‐based interface engineering strategy that transforms oxygen‐terminated AlN surfaces into fluorine‐terminated interfaces for grafted p‐Si/n‐AlN diodes. By combining pseudo‐ALE oxide removal, XeF2 fluorination, and ultrathin SiNx stabilization, the engineered interface suppresses defect‐assisted reverse leakage by ...

Fabrication of TiN/TiO2 Nanotube‐Based Heterostructure for Hydrogen Sensing Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A hydrogen sensor based on titanium dioxide nanotubes coated with titanium nitride has been developed. The coating process causes a mixed titanium oxynitride layer to form, which improves the sensor performance. Sensor response R depends on the TiN thickness and is not degraded after 7 days in air.
