Charge Compensation Mechanisms in Ni‐Rich NMC Cathodes
Understanding charge compensation mechanisms in nickel‐rich lithium nickel–manganese–cobalt alloy oxide (NMC) cathodes is crucial for optimizing their electrochemical performance. This study employs complementary spectroscopic techniques with varying probing depths, including X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure spectroscopy, hard ...

Analysis of the various processes downstream cathodic hydrogen charging III: Mechanistic issues on charging, degassing and sulfide stress cracking [PDF]
The elementary steps of hydrogen charging and degassing are identified from a combination between reaction orders and acoustic emission, and the higher degassing rate on the H2S side makes the natural permeation in the field still more different from its

Charge transport phenomena in thin-film cathodes
Abstract The OCV, chemical diffusion coefficient and thermodynamic enhancement factor has been determined as a function of lithium content in MOCVD TiS 2 films. The films were deposited in a cold-wall reactor at 7.5 mbar, 207 and 250°C, and a feed gas composition of 0.25 vol% TiCl 4 and 1.4 vol% hexamethyldisilathiane.

The Effect of Cold Rolling on the Hydrogen Susceptibility of 5083 Aluminum Alloy
This work focuses in investigating the effect of cold deformation on the cathodic hydrogen charging of 5083 aluminum alloy. The aluminium alloy was submitted to a cold rolling process, until the average thickness of the specimens was reduced by 7% and 15%

Effect of loading mode on blistering in iron submitted to plastic prestrain before hydrogen cathodic charging [PDF]
International audienceTensile tests and simple shear tests have been performed on Armco iron sheets before hydrogen cathodic charging, in order to study the effect of loading mode on blistering of plastically prestrained samples. The experimental results
