Cathodic stripping voltammetry of peptide complexes [PDF]
Small peptides containing the histidine residue are considered as models of the metal binding site of bioactive peptides and proteins. The present study has been concerned with the cathodic stripping voltammetry of the copper complexes of imidazole (the ...

Studies on Counter Electrode Materials in Aqueous Zinc Half-Cell Configurations. [PDF]
Coulombic efficiency is a key metric for zinc reversibility in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries, but its reliability in zinc half‐cells is strongly influenced by poorly understood counter‐electrode materials. By systematically comparing Cu, Ti, stainless steel, and Al to identify reactions associated with current collectors, we find that Ti is the metal ...

Determination of Chitosan by Cathodic Stripping Voltammetry
A sensitive method for the determination of chitosan (CTS) by cathodic stripping voltammetry is presented. The method exploits a pair of oxidation-reduction peaks of CTS at -0.62 V (vs. SCE) and -0.54 V (vs. SCE), and an enhancement of the peak current of CTS observed in a 0.05 mol l(-1) potassium hydrogenphthalate buffer solution (pH 2.5).

Trace and selective determination of cobalt(II) in water and salt samples using cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry in the presence of pyrogallol red [PDF]
A sensitive and selective procedure is presented for voltammetric determination of cobalt. The procedure involves an adsorptive accumulation of cobalt pyrogallol red (PGR) complex on stationary mercury drop electrode, followed by cathodic stripping ...
