Pancreatic Schwann cell reprogramming supports cancer‐associated neuronal remodeling
Main Points Pancreatic Schwann cells (pSCs) associate with sympathetic axons. pSCs start to reprogram at metaplastic stages. Glial cell derived neurotrophic factor expressed by pSCs promotes their expansion and sympathetic sprouting in metaplastic lesions.
