Electrochemical Nitrate Reduction Reaction to Ammonia at Industrial‐Level Current Densities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review starts from the mechanism and theoretical basis of electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction (NO3−RR), and systematically summarizes and discusses the design strategies of industrial‐level current density catalysts. In addition, the progress of industrial‐level NO3−RR‐based electrolyzers, including flow reactor and membrane electrode ...

Defect‐Rich 2D Layered Double Hydroxides Enhance Sonodynamic Antibacterial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops defect‐rich ultrathin ZnCuW‐LDH nanosheets (DR‐ZnCuW‐LDH) via acid etching. DR‐ZnCuW‐LDH exhibits fourfold enhanced US‐triggered ROS production due to oxygen defects and electronic modulation, demonstrating potent antibacterial efficacy in vitro/vivo.

Thermal equilibrium responses in Guzerat cattle raised under tropical conditions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Thermal Biology, 2016
The literature is very sparse regarding research on the thermal equilibrium in Guzerat cattle (Bos indicus) under field conditions. Some factors can modify the physiological response of Guzerat cattle, such as the reactivity of these animals to handling.
