NOGHAYS AROUND THE CAUCASIA AND CRIMEA

Living in a wide area lying from Kazakhstan to Romania some of the Noghay tribes settled in around the Crimea. In the 18th century some Noghay tribes were settled on the northern steppes of the Caucasus by Russians. Noghays have established ethnic and cultural relations with the Caucasian peoples.
