Data on 27 species of nine genera of digger wasps of the family Sphecidae collected in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan are presented. Of them, 20 species are recorded for the fauna of Azerbaijan for the first time.

Synthesis of yttrium aluminum garnet ceramic powder doped with ruthenium
In the course of the work, samples of ceramic powders of yttrium-aluminum garnet doped with ruthenium ions were obtained. The introduced amount of ruthenium was 5 and 10 wt.%, respectively. The annealing temperatures were 1150 and 1600°C.

This work gives description of method receiving powder titanium oxide doped ions samarium (TiO2:Sm3+) with pure anatase structure. Synthesized sample has strong red-orange luminescent lines under exposition of ultraviolet radiation.
