Green's function for gravitational waves in FRW spacetimes
A method for calculating the retarded Green's function for the gravitational wave equation in Friedmann-Roberson-Walker spacetimes, within the formalism of linearized Einstein gravity is developed.

ALMOST A CENTURY OF ANSWERING THE QUESTION: WHAT IS A MOCK THETA FUNCTION? [PDF]
Quite a few famous and extraordinarily gifted mathematicians led lives that were tragically cut short. Ramanujan is certainly among them. While suffering from a fatal disease, he discovered what he called mock theta functions.

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

High Entropy Wide‐Bandgap Borates with Broadband Luminescence and Large Nonlinear Optical properties
High‐entropy rare‐earth borates exhibit excellent nonlinear optical and broadband luminescence properties arising from multi‐component doping, chemical disorder, increased configurational entropy, and increased lattice and electronic anharmonicity. This formulation enabled us to obtain a large, environmentally stable single crystal with 3X higher laser‐

Stochastic differential utility as the continuous-time limit of recursive utility [PDF]
We establish a convergence theorem that shows that discrete-time recursive utility, as developed by Kreps and Porteus (1978), converges to stochastic differential utility, as introduced by Dufffie and Epstein (1992), in the continuous-time limit of ...

Platform system to create biofabricated 3D spinal cord tissue models: Combining high resolution PCL fiber placement, a customized, hyaluronic acid‐based hydrogel, two cell types (spinal cord neurons and astrocytes) together with three distinct laminin isoforms allow the formation of functional cell–cell network interactions.

Some considerations in connection with Kurepa's function [PDF]
In this paper we consider the functional equation for factorial sum and its particular solutions (Kurepa's function $K(z)$ \cite{Kurepa_71} and function $K_{1}(z)$).

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Closure theorems with applications to entire functions with gaps [PDF]
In this paper we consider questions of completeness for spaces of continuous functions on a half line which satisfy appropriate growth conditions. The results obtained have consequences in the theory of entire functions with gap power series.
