The Sobolev-type equations of the second order with the relatively dissipative operator pencils
Of concern is the Cauchy problem for the Sobolev-type equation of the second order. We introduce the definition of relatively dissipative operator pencils, generalize the notion of dissipativity and relative dissipativity of operators.

A modification of Cauchy's method for quadratic equations
The plan of this paper is to obtain one-point iterative methods with any R-order of convergence, when they are applied to approximate solutions of quadratic equations in Banach spaces. To do this, we consider real Cauchy's method and, under certain natural modifications, it is extended to Banach spaces. Some applications are also provided.

This study presents a phase‐field model integrating mechanical constraints, solid–solid contact, and large‐strain mechanochemical coupling to characterize lithium deposition and electrolyte cracking. Results show that reducing mechanical constraints, with good electrode–electrolyte contact, suppresses dendrite eruption in cracks and extends battery ...

Cauchy problem for fractional diffusion equations
We consider an evolution equation with the regularized fractional derivative of an order $ \in (0,1)$ with respect to the time variable, and a uniformly elliptic operator with variable coefficients acting in the spatial variables. Such equations describe diffusion on inhomogeneous fractals.

Elastic Fiber Programming for Simplified Pneumatic Control in Soft Robots
This study introduces a novel approach to designing pneumatic soft actuators by leveraging elastic fiber programming to achieve tailored constitutive equations. Using pre‐stretched elastic fibers with varying properties and modurization, the soft robots can demonstrate diverse motions from a single pressure source. This simplifies control systems while

The Cauchy problem for the Ishimori equations
AbstractIn 1984, Y. Ishimori derived a nonlinear wave equation which is a two-dimensional analogue of the classical isotropic spin-chain in ferromagnetism. In this paper we show that the Cauchy problem associated to this equation is well-posed in Sobolev spaces when initial spins are almost parallel.

Observation of Optical Precursor in Time‐Energy‐Entangled W Triphotons
This study reports the observation of optical precursors at the triphoton level through the SSWM process. By appropriately adjusting the optical depth (OD), optical precursors are effectively separated from the main wave through utilizing the slow‐light effect to manipulate the triphoton temporal correlations in the group delay regime.

On a quadratic type functional equation on locally compact abelian groups
Let (G,+) be a locally compact abelian Hausdorff group, 𝓀 is a finite automorphism group of G, κ = card𝒦 and let µ be a regular compactly supported complex-valued Borel measure on G such that μ(G)=1κ$\mu ({\rm{G}}) = {1 \over \kappa }$.
