Intuitionistic fuzzy almost Cauchy–Jensen mappings

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2016
In this paper, we first investigate the Hyers–Ulam stability of the generalized Cauchy–Jensen functional equation of p-variable f(∑i=1paixi)=∑i=1paif(xi)$f\left(\sum\nolimits_{i = 1}^p {a_i x_i } \right) = \sum\nolimits_{i = 1}^p {a_i f(x_i )}$ in an ...

The Cauchy problem for 𝑝-evolution equations [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2010
In this paper we deal with the Cauchy problem for evolution equations with real characteristics. We show that the problem is well-posed in Sobolev spaces assuming a suitable decay of the coefficients as the space variable x → ∞ x\to \infty .

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Connections Between the Completion of Normed Spaces Over Non-Archimedean Fields and the Stability of the Cauchy Equation

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae, 2020
In [12] a close connection between stability results for the Cauchy equation and the completion of a normed space over the rationals endowed with the usual absolute value has been investigated. Here similar results are presented when the valuation of the

On the Solution of a Class of Cauchy Integral Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2000
In a previous paper we have presented a new method for solving a class of Cauchy integral equations. In this work we discuss in detail how to manage this method numerically, when only a finite and noisy data set is available: particular attention is focused on the question of the numerical stability.

Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hydrogels: Dynamics in the Diffusion‐Limited Regime

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A time‐dependent continuum model is developed to capture the transient swelling dynamics of chemo‐mechanical hydrogels. By coupling chemical reactions, solvent transport, and polymer deformation, volume phase transitions, reaction kinetics, and transient mechanical instabilities are analyzed.

On the Probabilistic Cauchy Theory of the Cubic Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation on Rd, d≥3 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We consider the Cauchy problem of the cubic nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLS) : i∂tu+Δu = ±|u|2u on Rd, d ≥ 3, with random initial data and prove almost sure well-posedness results below the scaling-critical regularity scrit = d−2 2 .

Nonlocal Conduction in a Metawire

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
A 1D metawire composed of twisted copper wires is designed and realized. This metamaterial exhibits pronounced effects of nonlocal electric conduction according to Ohm's law. The current at one location not only depends on the electric field at that location but also on other locations.

Existence and uniqueness theorem of associated solutions of the stochastic differential system with measures

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2018
The Cauchy problem for stochastic differential system with measures is considered in the paper. Finite-difference with averaging system of stochastic differential equations with correspondence to Cauchy problem is investigated.

Cauchy conformal fields in dimensions d>2

open access: yes, 2015
Holomorphic fields play an important role in 2d conformal field theory. We generalize them to d>2 by introducing the notion of Cauchy conformal fields, which satisfy a first order differential equation such that they are determined everywhere once we ...
