Microscale Mapping of Fiber Strain and Damage in Composite Wrinkled Laminates Using Computed Tomography Assisted Wide‐Angle X‐Ray Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

Some class of nonlinear partial differential equations in the ring of copolynomials over a commutative ring

open access: yesFrontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
We study the copolynomials, i.e., K-linear mappings from the ring of polynomials K[x] into the commutative ring K. With the help of the Cauchy–Stieltjes transform of a copolynomial, we introduce and examine a multiplication of copolynomials.

The Cauchy problem for 𝑝-evolution equations [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2010
In this paper we deal with the Cauchy problem for evolution equations with real characteristics. We show that the problem is well-posed in Sobolev spaces assuming a suitable decay of the coefficients as the space variable x → ∞ x\to \infty .

Polarization‐Dependent 3D Holography Generated by Inverse Design Nanoprinting Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel polarization‐dependent 3D holography is proposed by introducing polarization as an additional freedom, enabling enhanced depth selectivity and greater control over holographic reconstruction. The efforts perfectly combine the polarization and 3D holography display into ADAM gradient descent algorithm, the application of nanoprinting further ...

Asymptotic estimates of solution to damped fractional wave equation

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
It is known that the damped fractional wave equation has the diffusive structure as t → ∞ $t\rightarrow \infty $ . Let u ( t , x ) = e − t cosh ( t L ) f ( x ) + e − t sinh ( t L ) L ( f ( x ) + g ( x ) ) $u(t,x)=e^{-t}\cosh (t\sqrt{L})f(x)+e^{-t} \frac{\

A Nonlocal Cauchy Problem for Fractional Integrodifferential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
This paper is concerned with a nonlocal Cauchy problem for fractional integrodifferential equations in a separable Banach space X. We establish an existence theorem for mild solutions to the nonlocal Cauchy problem, by virtue of measure of noncompactness

Intelligent Soft Opto‐Magnetic Robot for Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An intelligent soft opto‐magnetic (iSOM) robot is developed that integrates remote magnetic actuation, skin‐mimic tactile perception, and photothermal ablation in a near‐millimeter‐scale design. It enables precise intraluminal navigation and localized ablation while providing real‐time optical feedback to support safe and accurate minimally invasive ...

The Sobolev-type equations of the second order with the relatively dissipative operator pencils

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2012
Of concern is the Cauchy problem for the Sobolev-type equation of the second order. We introduce the definition of relatively dissipative operator pencils, generalize the notion of dissipativity and relative dissipativity of operators.

A Physics Constrained Machine Learning Pipeline for Young's Modulus Prediction in Multimaterial Hyperelastic Cylinders Guided by Contact Mechanics

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided machine learning framework estimates Young's modulus in multilayered multimaterial hyperelastic cylinders using contact mechanics. A semiempirical stiffness law is embedded into a custom neural network, ensuring physically consistent predictions. Validation against experimental and numerical data on C.
