RETRACTED ARTICLE: A sharp Trudinger type inequality for harmonic functions and its applications
The present paper introduces a sharp Trudinger type inequality for harmonic functions based on the Cauchy-Riesz kernel function, which includes modified Poisson type kernel in a half plane considered by Xu et al. (Bound. Value Probl. 2013:262, 2013).

Composite n-forms and Cauchy kernels
\textit{S. Mazur} and \textit{W. Orlicz} [Stud. Math. 5, 50-68 and 179-189 (1935; Zbl 0013.21002)] introduced the concept of generalized polynomials of several variables. The authors of the paper under review investigate this concept in the case where variables and values are placed in arbitrary vector spaces.

A Bayes factor framework for unified parameter estimation and hypothesis testing
Abstract The Bayes factor, the data‐based updating factor of the prior to posterior odds of two hypotheses, is a natural measure of statistical evidence for one hypothesis over the other. We show how Bayes factors can also be used for parameter estimation.

Novel kernel function for computing the similarity of text
To enhance the performance of detecting similar documents,a novel kernel function named S_Wang kernel was constructed.Based on the actual situation of computing text similarity, the S_Wang kernel was newly bu lt with consideration of the Euclidean ...

On some properties of Cauchy-Stieltjes Kernel families
The author studies and proves theorems about properties of the Cauchy-Stieltjes kernel families which have counterparts in natural exponential families. The author concentrates on properties of the variance function of finite mixtures of distributions of these families.

Real‐Time Conformal Maps and Parameterizations
Abstract We present a simple algorithm to conformally map between two simple and bounded planar domains based on the concept of harmonic measure, which is a conformal invariant. With suitable preprocessing, the algorithm is fast enough to compute all possible conformal maps (having three real degrees of freedom) between the two domains in real time in

Identification and Estimation of Large Network Games with Private Link Information
ABSTRACT We study the identification and estimation of large network games in which individuals choose continuous actions while holding private information about their links and payoffs. Extending the framework of Galeotti et al., we build a tractable empirical model of such network games and show that the parameters in individual payoffs are ...
