𝑁𝜃-Ward Continuity

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
A function 𝑓 is continuous if and only if 𝑓 preserves convergent sequences; that is, (𝑓(𝛼𝑛)) is a convergent sequence whenever (𝛼𝑛) is convergent. The concept of 𝑁𝜃-ward continuity is defined in the sense that a function 𝑓 is 𝑁𝜃-ward continuous if it ...

Blow-up of solutions of Cauchy problem for nonlinear Schrödinger equation

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2013
In this work we study the effect of time finiteness of the existence of Cauchy problem for nonlinear Schrödinger equation solution. Together with the ill-posed Cauchy problem we consider its neighborhood in the space of operators, representing Cauchy ...

Generalized a-min special type contraction results on 2-Menger spaces [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of Natural Sciences Research, 2022
The goal of this paper is to present some novel probabilistic a-minimum contraction results on probabilistic 2-metric spaces. Our findings are based on probabilistic 2-metric spaces, which are the probabilistic generalisations of 2-metric spaces.

On the Fuzzy Convergence

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2011
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study the fuzzy neighborhood, the limit fuzzy number, the convergent fuzzy sequence, the bounded fuzzy sequence, and the Cauchy fuzzy sequence on the base which is adopted by Abdul Hameed (every real number r is ...

Cauchy Sequences in Semimetric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1972
As the main result we prove that every semimetrizable space has a semimetric for which every convergent sequence has a Cauchy subsequence. This result is used to show that a T 1 {T_1} space X is semimetrizable if and only if it is a pseudo-open π \pi -image of a metric space.

The Completion of Generalized 2-Inner Product Spaces

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences, 2023
A complete metric space is a well-known concept. Kreyszig shows that every non-complete metric space  can be developed into a complete metric space , referred to as completion of . We use the b-Cauchy sequence to form  which “is the set of all b-Cauchy

The moduli space of isometry classes of globally hyperbolic spacetimes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This is the last article in a series of three initiated by the second author. We elaborate on the concepts and theorems constructed in the previous articles. In particular, we prove that the GH and the GGH uniformities previously introduced on the moduli

On the dynamics of the quantum states set for a system with degenerated Hamiltonian

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2011
We study the sequence of regularizing Cauchy problem as the elliptic regularization of Cauchy problem for Schrodinger equation with discontinuous and degenerated coefficients.

New Convergence Definitions for Sequences of Sets

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
Several notions of convergence for subsets of metric space appear in the literature. In this paper, we define Wijsman  -convergence and Wijsman  -convergence for sequences of sets and establish some basic theorems.
