Causality for Cyber-Physical Systems
We present a formal theory for analysing causality in cyber-physical systems. To this end, we extend the theory of actual causality by Halpern and Pearl to cope with the continuous nature of cyber-physical systems. Based on our theory, we develop an analysis technique that is used to uncover the causes for examples of failures resulting from ...

On the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau, microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) peaks at intermediate soil organic carbon levels and declines thereafter. In carbon‐rich soils, the formation of stable mineral‐associated organic carbon is decoupled from microbial CUE.

Engineered GM1 Intersects Between Mitochondrial and Synaptic Pathways to Ameliorate ALS Pathology
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease driven by genetic and molecular disruptions affecting energy balance, protein homeostasis, and stress responses in nerve cells. Studies using human and rodent models identified convergent defects in mitochondria and synaptic function.

Psoriatic disease (PsD) is a chronic skin disease, with challenges in early risk stratification and drug development. Through gene‐level causal inference framework and expression level validation, combined with longitudinal cohort study, CDSN and PRSS8 have been identified as candidate biomarkers and therapeutic targets for PsD.

Causality problem in Economic Science
The main point of the paper is the problem of the economy to be consider like a science in the most strict term of the concept. In the first step we are going to tackle a presentation about what we understand by science to subsequently present some of ...

Traditionally considered sterile, the articular cavity is now recognized to harbor microbial communities influencing osteoarthritis (OA). Integrating 16S rRNA sequencing and culturomics, Micrococcus luteus is enriched in advanced OA. Notably, M. luteus G18 exacerbates cartilage degeneration via TLR2/JNK/AP‐1‐mediated ECM disruption, revealing intra ...

A mutually exclusive screening system is established to identify negative regulators of highly plastic genes. Dual specificity phosphatase (DUSP9) is a novel negative regulatory molecule of PD‐L1 by dephosphorylating STAT3, and acts as a target molecule in combination with PD‐1 antibody for tumor immunotherapy and a new clinical biomarker for ...
