Cai et al. report that tumor‐derived lactate induces NUPR1 expression via H3K18 lactylation, which can promote the pro‐tumor M2 macrophage polarization through ERK and JNK signaling pathways. Treatment with NUPR1 selective inhibitor sensitizes synergizes with anti‐PD‐1 therapy in murine preclinical models.

Neural Network Modeling for Forecasting Tourism Demand in Stopića Cave: A Serbian Cave Tourism Study [PDF]
For modeling the number of visits in Stopi\'{c}a cave (Serbia) we consider the classical Auto-regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model, Machine Learning (ML) method Support Vector Regression (SVR), and hybrid NeuralPropeth method which combines classical and ML concepts.

Hydrological and tectonic strain forces measured from a karstic cave using extensometers [PDF]
In order to monitor the hydrological strain forces of the karst micro fissure networks and local fault activities, six capacitive extensometers were installed inside a karstic cave near the midi-fault in Belgium. From 2004 to 2008, the nearby Lomme River experienced several heavy rains, leading to flooding inside the Rochefort cave.

The large double cavern situated to south-west of, and about 500 feet higher than Psychro, avillage of the upland Lasithi plain in Crete, has long been known to contain early votive objects (Plate IX. 1). The discovery was made by peasants about 1883, who were in the habit of housing goats and pigeons there, and in 1886 the noise of it brought to the ...
