Cavernous Hemangioma in the Diencephalon
Archives of Neurology, 1981A 32-year-old man with a history of delayed puberty and obesity was seen initially with bitemporal hemianopsia and headache in 1974. Neuroradiologic studies showed a mass in the chiasmatic cistern and hypothalamus. Surgical exploration of the chiasm was unrevealing. Slowly progressive memory loss and intellectual impairment developed.

Cavernous Hemangiomas of the Orbit
Ophthalmology, 1983Patients with cavernous hemangioma of the orbit seen at the Wills Eye Hospital for the 10-year period, 1972-1981 were reviewed in a retrospective manner. This benign vascular tumor most typically presented as unilateral painless proptosis in a middle-aged woman. The duration of symptoms was between 6 months and 2 years.

The American Journal of Surgery, 1946Abstract A benign hemangioma of the spleen sometimes ruptures causing hemoperitoneum and signs of an acute surgical condition of the abdomen. Three of forty-three reported cases of hemangioma of the spleen were complicated by rupture and hemoperitoneum.
