Pleural cavitations and pneumothorax following axitinib therapy in metastatic renal cell carcinoma: A case report

Tumor cavitation and pneumothorax are rare but serious complications of antiangiogenic therapies. We present a case of a 46‐year‐old male with metastatic renal cell carcinoma who developed pleural cavitations and recurrent pneumothorax after axitinib therapy, ultimately leading to sepsis and multiorgan failure.

Magnesium oxide (MgO) nanoparticles are biodegradable, biocompatible, and exhibit a robust antimicrobial effect against common oral pathogens, including Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Candida albicans.
