Determination of resistance to cavitation of pyrophyllite samples
The resistance under the action of cavitation of sintered pyrophillite samples was investigated. The initial sample of pyrophillite from the Parsovic-BiH deposit was ground a vibrating mill to a granulation of 20 mm, pressed and sintered at temperatures (

Ultrasound enhancement of microfiltration performance for natural organic matter removal [PDF]
Sonication of water at 1500 W power prior to microfiltration showed that short sonication times (60 s) gave a reduced flux decline. It is suggested that a less potent, smaller molecular form of the natural organic matter (NOM) was produced by sonication.

Cavitation erosion of polyethylene and chloroprene rubber for liners
Resin lining is widely used as an anti-corrosion method for steel pipes. Since cavitation sometimes occurs near valves in piping system, it is necessary to consider not only the corrosion resistance but also the erosion resistance.

Effect of Toughness and Ductility on the Cavitation Erosion of Martensitic Stainless Steel
Martensitic stainless steel containing 13% Cr–4% Ni suffers cavitation erosion (CE) as the common material of hydro turbine impellers. Two 13% Cr–4% Ni stainless steel samples were obtained by different melting and heating processes.
