LEUCEMIA MIELOIDE AGUDA INDIFERENCIADA REFRATÁRIA EM PACIENTE PEDIÁTRICO

open access: yesHematology, Transfusion and Cell Therapy, 2023

Effect of Prophylactic Incisional Negative Pressure Wound Therapy on Surgical Site Infection After Emergency Laparotomy: An Updated Meta‐Analysis With Trial Sequential Analysis

open access: yesWorld Journal of Surgery, EarlyView.
Patients undergoing emergency laparotomy are at high risk of surgical site infections (SSI), which contribute substantially to postoperative morbidity. Incisional negative pressure wound therapy (iNPWT) has been shown to reduce the incidence of SSI following elective surgery, however, its effectiveness in the emergency setting remains uncertain ...

Early Acute Kidney Injury in Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation: Incidence, Severity, and Associated Factors in a 634‐Recipient Cohort

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a frequent and clinically relevant complication in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) recipients, particularly during the early post‐HCT period. Although AKI has been extensively reported in long‐term follow‐up studies, data focusing on the initial hospitalization phase remain limited ...

A PALATALIZAÇÃO VARIÁVEL DE /T, D/ EM CAXIAS DO SUL

open access: yesCadernos do IL, 2011

Unveiling Float Glass Staining Induced by an Acid‐Cleaning Product

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Glass Science, Volume 17, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Staining of glass facades is a recurring and significant problem worldwide. This study investigates the causes of staining observed on six laminated float glass samples from four manufacturers (α, β, γ, and δ). Samples from β, γ, and δ were new, whereas those from α (α1, α2, and α3) were taken from a building after service exposure.

Microwave‐Assisted Alcoholysis of Ethylene–Vinyl Acetate: Phenomenological and Thermal Evolution of EVAOH Terpolymers

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 36, September 20, 2026.
Microwave‐assisted alcoholysis converts EVA into EVAOH terpolymers, promoting a progressive transition from EVA‐like crystallites to VOH‐rich hydrogen‐bonded crystalline domains. Solvent‐controlled swelling influences conversion kinetics, while thermal analysis reveals a sigmoidal increase in melting temperature that a two‐population crystallization ...

Differential Expression of Human and Bacterial Proteins Reveals Microbiome–Host Crosstalk in Metabolic Disorders

open access: yesPROTEOMICS – Clinical Applications, Volume 20, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose The growing prevalence of obesity, MetS, and T2DM highlights the need to better understand host–microbiota interactions. While gut microbiota has been widely investigated, interactions between the oral microbiota and human salivary proteins remain largely unexplored.

Development and Characterization of ZnO‐Filled and Maleic Anhydride‐Compatibilized PP/SEBS Blends for 3D‐Printing Filaments

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 29, August 5, 2026.
PP/SEBS/MA/ZnO filaments produced by bench‐top single‐screw extrusion show refined morphology, increased crystallinity, improved thermal robustness, and preliminary FFF printability, demonstrating a practical route for functional filament development. ABSTRACT Currently, single‐screw extrusion offers a versatile and accessible route to produce polymer ...

New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in Alternative Methods: A Comparative Cytotoxicity Analysis of Nanostructured Hydroxyapatite in Adipose Stem Cells Spheroids

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, Volume 46, Issue 8, Page 2884-2894, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Toxicological assessment is essential in NP approval for health and medical applications. Although 2D cell culture has been widely used, 3D models, especially spheroids, provide better predictive value for toxicological risk assessments since they replicate complex cellular interactions more accurately.
