Building Theory from Quantitative Studies, or, How to Fit SEM Models [PDF]
Covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) is an increasingly popular technique for analyzing quantitative data in Information Systems research. As such, it is traditionally viewed as a method to test theory, rather than build it.

High‐Resolution Multispectral Photovoltaic Imagers from Visible to Short‐Wave Infrared
We demonstrate a monolithic quad‐spectral imager that seamlessly integrates visible and short‐wave infrared detection on a single chip. Through direct photopatterning of an all‐polymer bulk heterojunction and colloidal quantum dots, the device achieves high‐resolution (640 × 512) imaging across 350–2400 nm, enabling multispectral capture for ...

Glutamine deprivation triggers transient DNA damage yet activates adaptive repair in hepatocellular carcinoma cells. We identify TRIB3 as a stress‐induced nuclear scaffold that associates with DDX5 and G‐quadruplex DNA atBRCA1 andRAD51AP1 promoters. TRIB3 loss increases G4 accumulation, suppresses HR gene transcription, elevates γ‐H2A.X, and sensitizes

Water‐soluble metallophthalocyanines self‐assemble onto the surface of carbon black via π–π interactions, creating highly dispersed and electronically coupled MPcTs/CB, which enables selective CO2‐to‐CO conversion in aqueous media with near‐quantitative Faradaic efficiency and remarkable stability. Optimized flow‐cell operation delivers up to 500 mA cm−

Liquid Bismuth Catalyst Enables High‐CO‐Selectivity in CO2 Hydrogenation
This work introduces a dynamic liquid bismuth catalyst for efficient CO2‐to‐syngas conversion. Stabilized molten Bi nanodroplets on a defective VOx support enable a reversible Bi3+/Bi0 redox cycle at moderate temperatures. Mechanistic insights reveal that Ni‐Bi dual sites synergistically activate H2 and cleave CO2, leading to high CO selectivity ...

Multiple Indicators and Multiple Causes (MIMIC) Models as a Mixed-Modeling Technique: A Tutorial and an Annotated Example [PDF]
Formative modeling of latent constructs has produced great interest and discussion among scholars in recent years. However, confusion exists surrounding researchers’ ability to validate these models, especially with covariance-based structural equation ...

A MXene‐enhanced electrochemical sensor enables the rapid and direct detection of methamphetamine. Molecular simulations reveal that specific MXene surface functional groups act as key signal amplifiers by facilitating interfacial interactions. The sensor demonstrates high sensitivity and robust performance in complex biological matrices.

Tumor dsDNA released by cryoablation is taken up by macrophages, activating the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway. This leads to an expansion of the CXCL10+ macrophage pool and increased secretion of CXCL10, which in turn recruits CXCR3+ T cells from draining lymph nodes into the tumor microenvironment to exert anti‐tumor effects.
