ABSTRACT Detailed knowledge of the internal anatomy of the root canal system and its variations is essential for selecting appropriate endodontic treatment protocols. Micro‐computed tomography (micro‐CT) allows for nondestructive, high‐resolution three‐dimensional (3D) analysis of extracted teeth, enabling precise evaluation of root canal morphology ...

A kúpsugaras CT vizsgálatok során keletkező műtermékek
A CBCT készülékek térhódítása a maxillofaciális diagnosztikában 1998-ban indult el és napjainkban is tart. A 3 dimenziós tájékozódási lehetőség és kiváló geometriai pontosság miatt egyre szélesebb körben alkalmazzák.

ABSTRACT Portable X‐ray computed tomography (portable CT) has become an important tool for the non‐destructive investigation of cultural heritage objects, particularly when in situ analysis is required. This work presents the experimental characterization and application of a transportable cone‐beam CT system designed for the inspection of large and ...

ABSTRACT This ex vivo study characterised the mesial root morphology of mandibular first molars with a middle mesial canal (MMC) using micro‐CT. Among 469 scanned molars, 42 (8.96%) presented an MMC. Morphological parameters analysed included canal configuration, chamber orifice features, dentine thickness, isthmus type, and aspect ratio.

CBCT-DRRs superior to CT-DRRs for target-tracking applications for pancreatic SBRT
Objective. In current radiograph-based intra-fraction markerless target-tracking, digitally reconstructed radiographs (DRRs) from planning CTs (CT-DRRs) are often used to train deep learning models that extract information from the intra-fraction ...
