Edge Feature Extract CBIRS for Car Retrieval : CBIRS/EFI [PDF]
The paper proposed CBIRS/EFI with contents based search technique using edge feature information of the object from image information of the object which is uncertain. In order to search specially efficiently case of partial image information of the object, we used the search technique which extracts outline information and color information in feature

CBIR with Perceptual Region Features [PDF]
A perceptual approach to generating features for use in indexing and retrieving images is described. Salient regions that immediately attract the eye are colour (textured) regions that usually dominate an image. Features derived from these will allow search for images that are similar perceptually.

CBIR system focuses on retrieving images from the database; the system depends on the way the indexing is being implemented. The way or method in which an image is stored will affect how it will be retrieved later and which can save more storage space and improve the retrieval process.

Relevance Feedback in CBIR [PDF]
A new focus in content-based image retrieval (CBIR) research is applying relevance feedback originally developed for text document retrieval, to improve the retrieval performance. This effort tries to bridge the gap between low-level image features and high-level semantic contents of images as this gap is the bottleneck of CBIR.

A hybrid of a bacteriophage virus and a helical supramolecular fiber, composed of an amphiphilic peptide containing an azobenzene group (A2Az), as a virus hybridizable self‐assembling peptide is reported. The hybrid undergoes disassembly by photo‐induced depolymerization of the A2Az fiber, which enables site‐selective control of the adhesion and ...

Relevance Feedback within CBIR Systems
We present here the results for a comparative study of some techniques, available in the literature, related to the relevance feedback mechanism in the case of a short-term learning. Only one method among those considered here is belonging to the data mining field which is the K-nearest neighbors algorithm (KNN) while the rest of the methods is related
