Network performance analysis for CBM implementation based on OSA-CBM framework
2018 IEEE Aerospace Conference, 2018In aircraft industry, after labour and fuel costs, maintenance costs are the third largest expense item for both regional and national carriers. By implementing CBM technologies not only the maintenance costs can be reduced, also it can provide more specific scheduled maintenance, onboard diagnostics and prognostics services. Maintenance department can

Computational Challenges for the CBM Experiment
2012CBM ("Compressed Baryonic Matter") is an experiment being prepared to operate at the future Facility for Anti-Proton and Ion Research (FAIR) in Darmstadt, Germany, from 2018 on. CBM will explore the high-density region of the QCD phase diagram by investigating nuclear collisions from 2 to 45 GeV beam energy per nucleon.

We introduce the TRD of the CBM experiment at the planned FAIR facility of GSI. A study on the optimization of the detector parameters in what concerns the electron/pion identification performance is presented. Results on tracking performance as well as on rate capability are shown.
