Da nicht die gesamte Wärme durch den Kühlschmierstoff abgeführt werden kann, können thermisch bedingte Bauteildefekte auftreten. Die Wärmestromaufteilung wird durch die verschleißbedingte Veränderung der Schleifscheibentopografie beeinflusst.
