Characterisation of the relationship between surface texture and surface integrity of superalloy components machined by grinding [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The surface texture of a machined component is influenced largely by the processing parameters used during machining and hence, there is a relationship between both the formation of the surface texture and surface integrity of the machined component.

Antiseizure Effects of Cannabidiol in Combination With Cannabigerol in the Maximal Electroshock Seizure Model

open access: yesBasic &Clinical Pharmacology &Toxicology, Volume 138, Issue 2, February 2026.
Cannabidiol and cannabigerol suppress maximal electroshock seizures. Cannabidiol and cannabigerol show similar dose–response properties. Both cannabinoids show no toxicity at effective doses. ABSTRACT Current antiseizure therapy for epilepsy is only effective in about 70% of the patient population.

Wear evolution and stress distribution of single CBN superabrasive grain in high-speed grinding

open access: yesPrecision engineering, 2018
In this study, both finite element analysis (FEA) and experimental observations were used to investigate the single CBN grain wear in high-speed grinding of Inconel 718 superalloy. The wear characteristics for each grinding pass were numerically assessed

The Analysis of the Transformation Mechanism of cBN Crystals with the First-Principle Calculation

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2020
To clarify the synthesis mechanism of cubic boron nitride (cBN) with catalysts at high temperature and high pressure, we calculate the surface energy of the main phases in the Li-N-B synthesis system using the first-principle method. Based on the density

Functionally-selective inhibition of threshold sodium currents and excitability in dorsal root ganglion neurons by cannabinol

open access: yesCommunications Biology
Cannabinol (CBN), an incompletely understood metabolite for ∆9-tetrahydrocannabinol, has been suggested as an analgesic. CBN interacts with endocannabinoid (CB) receptors, but is also reported to interact with non-CB targets, including various ion ...
