Synthesis of CCIIs and Design of Simulated CCII Based Floating Inductances
2007 14th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2007It is presented the synthesis of second generation current conveyors (CCIIs) and their use to design simulated floating inductances. The CCIIs are synthesized by combining the connection of current mirrors to optimized voltage followers. Designed non-ideal simulated inductances are used to design a current-mode low-pass fifth order Chebyshev filter and

AbstractA CMOS second generation Current Conveyor (CCII) is presented which is based on a novel voltage follower with a symmetric two‐gain‐stage topology. Simulations on a 0.8 μm design employing a 3.3 V power supply show a 0.03 per cent low‐frequency voltage gain error, a THD better than −70 dB for a 1 Vp−p 100 kHz input signal, and reduced offset ...

Proceedings of 8th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference on Industrial Applications in Power Systems, Computer Science and Telecommunications (MELECON 96), 2002
A design of a class A CMOS second generation current conveyor is presented which provides high performances in terms of accuracy and frequency response. The circuit is based on a closed-loop gain stage and thanks to its simple topology, it is very suitable for use as an input stage of current-mode operational amplifiers.

Power-efficient dynamic-biased CCII
2017 European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design (ECCTD), 2017In this work a dynamic biasing circuit for current conveyor (CCII) applications is proposed and discussed with circuitry details. This solution, applied for the first time to current-mode circuits, allows to decrease the steady state power consumption of the considered circuit, minimally affecting its performance.

Memristor emulator based on single CCII
2015 27th International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM), 2015With the introduction of the memristor design by the HP lab, there has been a surge of interest to perform different theoretical and experimental works to investigate various potential applications of the memristor. However, since the memristor is not available commercially, it is essential to design the emulator circuit for the memristors from the ...

A SPICE-Compatible Nonlinear CCII Macromodel
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2017Experimental results of a SPICE-compatible macromodel to model the nonlinear behavior of second generation current conveyors (CCIIs) at low frequency are presented. The derived macromodel includes not only those real physical performance parameters more important for CCII like the dynamic range, slew rate, DC gain and gain–bandwidth product, but ...

On the systematic synthesis of CCII‐based floating simulators
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2009AbstractThis paper is adopting a new approach in the systematic synthesis of CCII‐based floating simulators. The synthesis procedure is based on the generalized systematic synthesis framework for active circuits using admittance matrix expansion.

Maximizing bandwidth in CCII for wireless optical applications
ICECS 2001. 8th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01EX483), 2002This paper discusses bandwidth problems associated with the usage of second-generation current conveyors in wireless optical systems, and presents a new current amplifier with wide bandwidth and large input dynamic range, developed for Fast Ethernet wireless applications.
