The Influence of Ni Content in NixCoy‐BDC Metal‐Organic Frameworks on Catalytic Activity for Hydrogen Generation from Sodium Borohydride

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
ABSTRACT Mono‐ and bimetallic Ni/Co‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) coordinated with 1,4‐benzenedicarboxylate were successfully synthesized via a solvothermal approach and characterized by PXRD, FTIR, TGA, SEM–EDS, TEM, BET, and XPS. Fine control over the Ni:Co molar ratio enabled systematic modulation of the structural and electronic properties ...

Experimentally Overcoming the Limitations of Methanol Synthesis From Syngas by Sorption Enhancement

open access: yesChemical Engineering &Technology, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
A deep analysis of the sorption‐enhanced reaction process (SERP) for methanol synthesis from CO2/H2 syngas with the experimental study of many parameters. ABSTRACT Methanol is an excellent candidate as a low carbon footprint fuel for the energy transition.

Putative Genomic Signatures of Local Adaptation in Five Local Indonesian Sheep Reveal Selection on Immunity, Reproduction, and Production Traits

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
We determined the genetic structure and signatures of selection in five local Indonesian sheep breeds using genome‐wide SNP data. By integrating population structure analyses with runs of homozygosity and haplotype‐based selection scans, we identified breed‐specific genomic regions associated with immunity, reproduction, pigmentation, metabolism, and ...

Complete Mitochondrial Genome of Ovophis makazayazaya (Viperidae, Crotalinae) and Phylogenetic Analysis

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study sequenced and annotated the complete 17,230 bp mitochondrial genome of Ovophis makazayazaya, which contains 13 protein‐coding genes (PCGs), 2 rRNAs, 22 tRNAs, and a D‐loop region, with a significant AT bias (57.2%). Phylogenetic analyses confirmed its placement within Crotalinae, and all PCGs showed evidence of purifying selection (Ka/Ks < 1)

CCUS in the Netherlands

open access: yes
This chapter provides an overview of the developments involving CCS since the late 1990s. At that time captured CO2 was primarily used for industrial purposes such as the soft drink and horticultural industry. Since then the focus shifted to underground storage of CO2. The first two attempts failed due to severe public opposition to onshore storage and

A RiboCancer cell line panel reveals that CLL‐associated Rps15 mutations translationally rewire transcription through codon‐specific tRNA accommodation defects

open access: yesHemaSphere, Volume 10, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Recurrent point mutations in ribosomal proteins (RPs) RPL10 and RPS15 are found in T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), respectively. Furthermore, deletions of RPL5, RPL11, and RPL22 are frequent in hematologic diseases such as Diamond Blackfan Anemia, T‐ALL, multiple myeloma, and in a variety of ...
