Benchmark generator for CEC 2009 competition on dynamic optimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Evolutionary algorithms(EAs) have been widely applied to solve stationary optimization problems. However, many real-world applications are actually dynamic.

Opposition based Ensemble Micro Differential Evolution

open access: yes, 2017
Differential evolution (DE) algorithm with a small population size is called Micro-DE (MDE). A small population size decreases the computational complexity but also reduces the exploration ability of DE by limiting the population diversity. In this paper,

Aneuploid CTC and CEC

open access: yesDiagnostics, 2018
Conventional circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection technologies are restricted to large tumor cells (> white blood cells (WBCs)), or those unique carcinoma cells with double positive expression of surface epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) for ...

MG53 Coordinates Macrophage Polarization and Neuroimmune Coupling to Promote Corneal Nerve Regeneration via the MPEG1–MVP–STAT6 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corneal nerve regeneration is critical to corneal wound healing processes. The current study reveals a novel role of MG53 in promoting corneal nerve regeneration after alkali induced injury. Mechanistically, MG53 enters macrophages via its receptor, MPEG1, promotes MVP K63 ubiquitination, and triggers STAT6 induced repair‐related genes expression ...

Yield per recruit of the peacock bass Cichla monoculus (Spix and Agassiz, 1831) caught in Lago Grande at Manacapuru (Amazonas – Brazil)

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biology
We evaluated the stock of peacock bass Cichla monoculus caught by a small-scale fishing fleet in Lago Grande at Manacapuru. The database was constructed by monthly samplings of 200 fish between February 2007 and January 2008. We measured the total length

POLIMORFISMO DE GENES DA GLUTATIONA-S-TRANFERASE E SUSCEPTIBILIDADE AO ESTRESSE OXIDATIVO EM PACIENTES COM LINFOMA HODGKIN E NÃO-HODGKIN

open access: yesHematology, Transfusion and Cell Therapy, 2021
Introdução: O linfoma é um tipo de câncer de elevada prevalência, que se manifesta por linfonodomegalia. O tratamento depende da classificação histológica e do estadiamento da doença, e sua eficácia e sucesso estão diretamente associados a como as ...

Reinforcement of Cathode Interface Using a Dipolar Small Molecule for Enhancing Operational Stability of Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a high‐dipole interlayer, MQPPO, that simultaneously improves efficiency and stability in perovskite solar cells. Its strong interfacial dipole enhances photovoltaic performance, while its uniform coverage and strong interaction with Ag effectively suppress AgI formation, ensuring long‐term stability under moisture and thermal stress.

Stationary phase approximation approach to the quasiparticle interference on the surface of a strong topological insulator

open access: yes, 2012
Topological insulators have surface states with unique spin-orbit coupling. With impurities on the surface, the quasiparticle interference pattern is an effective way to reveal the topological nature of the surface states, which can be probed by the ...

Decoding Gas Evolution Pathways and Interfacial Chemistry in Layered Oxide Cathodes for Safer Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Gas evolution behaviors of sodium layered oxide cathodes with varying compositions, cutoff voltages, dopants, and particle sizes/morphologies have been systematically investigated by online electrochemical mass spectrometry. The fundamental outgassing mechanisms of sodium‐based cathodes compared to lithium‐based cathodes have been elucidated.
